Wednesday Blog Along #8

I'm having a slow go at George R.R. Martin's A Game of Thrones. It's so well written that I'm really connecting with the characters, this is making it hard for me to read more than a few pages at a time before I'm getting to emotionally involved. I'm having to put it down and walk away for a little bit so, reading this book is going to be a long slow process.  Because of this I've started reading Ghost Hunting by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson with Michael Jan Friedman. It's a nice light read that I'm enjoying picking up here and there during the less hectic times of the day.

Still working on secret project #2.

The pattern looks intricate but, it's not really holding my attention.Since this is a pattern I'm designing I'm not feeling much promise towards this. I'm just going to have to complete it and see if the results were worth the work.

And I'm still working on the mittens for me.

But, since it's been unseasonably warm I've not felt like working on them. Plus, you know, their for me so they'll be put on the wayside continuously as other ideas and projects crop up (of course).

Be sure to hop over to Tami's Amis and Small Things to view some awesome works in action.

My husband would love the Ghost Hunting book. He watches Ghosthunters every week.

  4. If you are emotionally involved with the Game of Thrones characters now, just wait until they all start dropping like flies. The first two books are amazing, enjoy! The mitts look great : )
