For FO Friday I'm sharing a free pattern. Enjoy!

40 single crochet (sc) around 2” ring. Join with slip stitch (sl st) to first sc.

Making the cables

*Ch 1, sc in the top of the next loop*, move marker to the loop made.
Repeat from *to* around to last loop.
Ch 1, sc evenly around, join with sl st to 1st sc.
Ch 1, insert hook in 1st sc draw up a loop, insert hook into next sc draw a loop, yo, and pull through 2 loops.
Repeat around until hole is closed up. Fasten off. Weave in tails.

Insert pot into the netting and hang. Happy planting!

SarahFay’s Notes:

A knot can be tied in the hanger if the plant hangs to low.

  1. Clever idea, takes me back. Used to make macrame rope type plant hangers. Don't think my hands would hold up to using jute these days.

  3. Very clever idea!! I remember making these out of macrame many years ago, but they didn't look as good as yours!
