Launched

This morning I took my extra large tote full of goodies that I've made and dragged it outside. Praying that the rain would hold for a little while I spent an hour and some taking pictures of everything in that tote. Well, almost everything. I'll save the winter stuff till this fall.

I bet my neighbors thought I was crazy as I was setting my stuffed frogs up in our grapevines to photograph them. Or when I kept dragging one of the blankets out to take another picture of it because I thought of another way that it would look better. Or probably when I was mumbling to myself and the stuff I made as I was setting them up. Who knows.

I spent the rest of the day tweaking the pictures I had taken, making a banner, and other general nuisances that go into setting up a new shop. in the next couple weeks I will be posting new items. Enjoy! http://www.etsy.com/shop/KnitPurlHooked

New Beginings

I'm in the process of closing down SarahFay Creations and starting a new shop. When I had opened SarahFay Creations I was new to operating an online shop and learned as I went. Since then I have more experience and can see many flaws in this shop. So, I am redoing the whole thing. SarahFay Creations is being scrapped and turned into KnitPurlHooked. Once I have everything set-up and ready to go I will post a notice here.

My new class is going well and I have a short story in the works. I feel it's going to shape up as a thriller. If all goes well I'm planning on submitting it for publication. Which I should be working on it right now instead of playing on the internet. Bad Sarah.

And as if I'm not busy enough I'm dabbling in watercolors. I haven't used watercolors to paint anything in years. YEARS. A few weeks ago I bought a book for my daughter (who is also an artist) that I thought she would enjoy looking at. Got reading it myself and looking at the artwork and had a longing to start painting again. All I have is acrylics so I headed to our local art supply store. And left there with a slightly less heavy wallet but with lots of watercolor tools and supplies;p Now just waiting for when I have some extra time to sit down and play with my paints.

To those who celebrate, Happy Beltane and bright blessings!
